Rehabilitation Center for Prostitutes And Rootless Children (PARC) is a non – profit non–government development Organization to fight against the causes of human’s sufferings in various forms towards distressed Women and children specially the sex workers state children it was established in September 1994 as the expression of the social and moral community of its founders. The commitment is the grown from the fallings at the painful murder of Shobmeher in a Brothel.
PARC has been working with a crucial problem of women and children issue which has not yet been addressed effectively by any Government and non-government organizations, especially in Chittagong city of Bangladesh. PARC is trying to provided rehabilitation support and services of self-help improvement and the socio-economic upliftment of various vulnerable section of our society like poor, distressed Sex Workers and street children to lead a life of human dignity and to free them from poverty and injustice.

                                                                                                          PARC believes
Eradication of inhumanity and participation effects can be mutually reinforcing. Participation is an important ‘END’ in itself. But it is also ‘Means’- to more effective poverty reduction, ensure the social justice, human rights. That gives it added potency. Survey research of PARC revealing that participation van be highly effective in helping various vulnerable section of society like the sex workers and street children to overcome the shortcoming of different kinds of economic and governance systems. Ina development process, the target people of the PARC will be participated in the product, the final product, the benefits. Thus the beneficial will become development actors, not only aid recipients. This process also contributes to the empowerment of the poor, a more equitable sharing of economic power and higher level of awareness and strength. Moreover, PARC believes that development is a change from undesirable situation perceived by the target communities and it should be sustainable.
